Iowa APCO Conference Call Minutes

July 13^th, 2006 1500 hrs

In attendance: Cara Sorrells, Judy Flores, Wendi Hess, Eric Nevins, Michelle Spear, Kirk Litynski, Willis Carter, Wanda McCarley, Chris Fischer, Dick Mirgon, and Tim Ryan.

Judy Flores called the meeting to order and introductions followed. President Flores gave a brief history of the previous President’s resignation. She explained that the current board took the previous President’s resignation as a resignation from the executive board as well. She also explained issues raised from the new by-laws at the Spring meeting.

It was the recommendation that a letter be drafted asking the previous President to identify her specific issue(s) that she wants to be addressed. Then the executive committee should review her issue(s). The issue(s) mentioned today are not APCO International issues but Iowa APCO issues. International representatives can be neutral parties but will not participate. They do not want to make it their issue.

Motion was made by Cara Sorrells to draft a letter to Nancy Brady asking her to officially state her issues, with a second by Wendi Hess. There was no opposition.

Motion made at 1641 hrs to adjourn by Wendi Hess, with a second by Michelle Spear.
