APCO Conference Call

May 16^th, 2006 3:15 P.M.

In attendance: Judy Flores, Wendi Hess, Eric Nevins, Michelle Spear, Cindy Forgy,

Bob Seivert, and Cara Sorrells. Conference call began at 3:30 P.M.

The only item on the agenda was the Regional conference. It was stated at the Regional conference in Minnesota that Iowa was committed to host a Regional conference in 2007.

The executive committee was not aware of the commitment and Judy Flores had made inquiries with APCO International. If Iowa was committed we would be already behind in regards to preparation time. It would generally take 18 months to 2 years to properly plan the event. If Iowa is committed we would need to begin working immediately on things such as location,

Hotel/speaker arrangements, financing/budget, finding a conference chairman, vendors, etc…

No decisions were made and another conference call was scheduled for the following Tuesday May 23^rd, 2006 at 3:15 P.M. Judy will bring back the information received from International.
