In attendance: Cara
Sorrells, Eric Nevins, Judy Flores, Bob Seivert, Wendi Hess, and Cindy Forgy.
Meeting started at 2:49 hrs.
The item on the agenda for discussion was the shared expenses from the joint
APCO/NENA Fall Conference. Information was obtained
from Jill Randolph which showed a total income of $6,880 and total expenses of
$10,893. The difference would be $4,013. A motion was made by Wendi Hess to pay
half of that amount $2,006. This was seconded by Bob Seivert. Motion carried
with no opposition.
Wendi gave an overview of
the preparations for the upcoming Spring Conference. The planned speaker is
Virginia Tech. Wendi has been working with Stacey Gross to boost vendor support
for the conference as well. Wendi will be taking the vendor registrations this
year and will forward to Eric Nevins. In the past Eric got the registrations
but was unable to answer the vendor’s questions when they would call. Eric
advised he would also forward a spreadsheet he designed to Wendi to plan the
budget for the conference.
Wendi also asked for any
suggestions regarding the Telecommunicator Banquet. The schedule will be Monday
– user groups, Tuesday – NENA day, awards evening,
and Wednesday – APCO training.
Cindy Forgy
made a motion to accept the minutes from the Fall Conference business meeting.
The motion was seconded by Wendi Hess. Motion carried with no opposition.
Cara Sorrells made a motion
to approve payment of lifetime membership dues for Kenny Mead, Eric Nevins, and
Jan Visser. The motion was seconded by Wendi Hess. The motion carried with no
opposition.
Motion was made to adjourn
at 3:14 hrs by Wendi Hess and was seconded by Cindy Forgy.
